Developed in conjunction with TecDoc, this easy-to-use website (http://webshop-cs.tecdoc.net/delphi) allows the browser to quickly locate parts with fewer “clicks” of the mouse. With various search options available, including searches by make, model and/or Delphi and competitor part numbers, a full suite of essential information is easily accessible and works with the latest web browsers.

Rivoli (Torino), 9th January 2011 – High-performance transmission specialist Oerlikon Graziano has used its carbon-faced synchroniser technology to develop an innovative forward-reverse shift actuator that gives agricultural transmissions smoother shuttling control and longer life. Originally developed to give high-performance sports cars very fast gear-shift times, the company is developing carbon synchronisers for a growing number of off-highway transmissions.

System to create completely cordless environment for consumer electronics in cars


LAS VEGAS – Delphi Automotive (NYSE: DLPH) will display its Wireless Device Charging System at the Consumer Electronics Show next week. Currently under development, the system transmits power over distance to deliver a charge without precise positioning of the electronic device receiving the charge. It would eliminate the clutter, inconvenience and distractions associated with multiple charging cords in the vehicle cabin and replace them with a safe, convenient and efficient automatic charging system.
